◱ Here is a side view of our FIRST Dragon Fruit.
#2
◱ I started the plant from the seeds of a Dragon Fruit that I bought at the grocery store.
#3
◱ You can see the first bloom on the left, and a second bloom on the right that hasn't swollen yet.
#4
◱ I think the first bloom was actually closing when this picture was taken.
#5
◱ Here's a closeup of bloom 2.

◱ We got our first Dragon Fruit flower on the 7th of August, 2012. Here Don is doing a size comparison. :-)
#9
◱ The first one is on the left, and it's flower is wilting, and the second one on right is starting to bulge.
#10
◱ Here is the second flower. I woke up and checked about 4:47am
#11
◱ I was surprised to see it in bloom.
#12
◱ Here's #2 with my hand.
#13
◱ The Dragon fruit is growing in a long planter box. It has hardly any soil. I keep wanting to transplant it, but haven't figured out where.
#14
◱ I thought Cindy would make a cute "Hawaiian Girl" look with the flower. At 6:20am she was willing. :-)
#15
◱ You can see that bloom two is now closing. Mouse over the picture for the time comparisons.
#16
◱ You can see that a lot of my plants died while on vacation, except weeds and the dragon fruit.
#17
◱ You can also see why I need to move the dragon fruit. :-)
#18
◱ Second flower closing.
