2015-07-05 Week at Rosewold

#1 ◱ Don discovered we have a friend living with us. I was hoping to leave all gecko things in Hawaii. :-)

#2 ◱ We needed to get the heat/air exchanger box out of the flood plane (above flood)in order to pass inspections.

#3 ◱ Don developed a system to successfully do this with two people.

#4 ◱ It worked very well. We raised the box almost 16 inches, and put two cement blocks underneath.

#5 ◱ 

#6 ◱ So here is the finished, raised box, still attached successfully and functionally to the house.

#7 ◱ I have been fighting to keep a couple of trees alive. I have hoses running all over the property. I am still hopeful, although most of you will think this tree is a lost cause. :-) I still see green in places so I will not give up hope.

#8 ◱ Here is a rose from one of our new rose bushes, planted this year.

#9 ◱ Meanwhile there was a storm in Laie, and a large branch of our tree fell down.

#10 ◱ It is sad that I(Lois) am not there to clean it up.

#11 ◱ Here is our sad looking kitchen in Laie. Hopefully in the next week or so, it will become amazing!
