#1 ◱ Can you say? Rotten to the Core? I know it wasn't good since we'd had three large branches fall off it, and it was a "nursery tree" with four different kinds of trees growing "in" it. Rubber, Schefelera, something I don't know, and Flame. The bougainville was not growing in it, but on it.
#4 ◱ What it looks like now from the side. I feel like I should put up a Memorial Plaque for the tree, but since it's Hawaii, it's possible that we didn't kill it. Our goal wasn't to kill it, but cut out all the rotten parts.
#5 ◱ Don's bow and arrow holder. It
is constructed from the tube that holds 6 foot lengths of sheet Vinyl at Jerry's Home Improvement Center.
#6 ◱ Don cut them down and strapped them together.
#7 ◱ Then he put foam in the bottom so the arrows wouldn't fall out and the points would be protected.
#10 ◱ The new filter goes between the bladder and the sink table.
#11 ◱ When they put on a new roof they didn't install a way for the bathroom steam exhaust to get out. Then in the winter the fan died. So we went to replace the fan and discovered the problem.
#12 ◱ Two workers came and solved the exhaust problem.
#13 ◱ They installed the new led exhaust fan that we had purchased.
#14 ◱ It is wonderful and quiet now.... sometime we'll deal with the ceiling. lol
#15 ◱ Meanwhile, all week, when I could, I sewed gowns and robes for "apostles" out of fabric. Here is a sampling of the material I bought for gowns. I am about 1/3rd of the way I would like to be, but I did the best I could.
#16 ◱ There was a wire wrapped around Betsie's blade. We were hoping that once it was removed that she would run again. When Chuck and Don were working on Betsie, I worked on a lawnmower that had stopped working while in use. After cleaning the air filter, and working on the blade, it started and I was back to mowing. :-)
#17 ◱ Meanwhile Chuck and Don were going to work on the backhoe that won't start, but some yellow jackets had taken up residence in the toolbox and several vertical posts.
#18 ◱ It was a grand show when we sprayed wasp and hornet killer in the backhoe, and I think someone hit the side. :-)
