To get access to the pillars, we removed some of the artwork.

Removal of the center east pillar. It is apparently still quite solid, but there were cracks developing, and since we were replacing some that looked really bad, we also did some of the low-hanging fruit (easy to get at).

Two stacks of plywood. 30 sheets of regular ply on the left. 60 sheets of T1-11 on the right. Both are termite treated (borate) and painted with a primer coat. It's easier to paint before things are nailed to the second story of the house.
