#1 ◱ I wanted to make some fancy dresses for those tween girls that come to Larissa's studio to be photographed. The girls would wear the dresses and be photographed. Eventually, I hope to have a choice of more dresses. So I started with a dress that was flat on the skirt part. It did not have any of the "pull-ups".
#2 ◱ So this is my first attempt. I bought an adult size dress at a thrift shop. I tried to make it adjustable in length and width. Thus I put in the lacing on the back to make it tighter or looser depending on the girl.
#3 ◱ I had to open the seams and insert the lace. I think it turned out quite nice.
#4 ◱ I had to research how to make the pull-up affect. Originally, the dress had none of the pull-ups. It was flat at the bottom. It looked like it had enough material for me to scrunch it up. :-)
#5 ◱ I couldn't find the same material, so I bought this instead. The colors match. I plan on making a little jacket to cover the shoulders and a little sleeve.
#6 ◱ I made a reversible bolero jacket. Front with the shiny bolero jacket
