The Great Leap Forward
Book 18 in the Ben series.

Once upon a time ... there lived a king in a far away land of Ladie-Land. He was a magical king, who lived in a castle above the ground. He always had good weather. It was never too hot or too cold, and he loved his home.
But one day his parents came to him in a dream ...
“Son, you have grown up. You must build yourself a new castle. In a new land.”
“Dad, Mom, how could I leave all these wonderful things, my friends, my home, Everything I love?”
“Son, you must move on. no matter how hard. We know you can do it.”
“I understand ... Wish me luck!”
“We love you!”
So the king sold his last few cows and bought a magic carpet to fly to a strange new world. He packed what ever fit on the carpet and flew away. After flying for an entire day, the king decided to rest the night at a valley in the mountains. He parked by a cottage where Marvin the Marvelous and his Magnetic Mistress lived. the king was so impressed with them he decided to stay.
In the Morning Marvelous Marvin Mentioned a Machine for Making Magic Mallets. The king was impressed, he would need a mallet to make his castle. Mr. Marvin Mimicked Magic Max, a store for Making Mallets. For months the king made the perfect mallet. When it was done, the king summoned Marvin, and asked if he knew of a place to find stone. Madly Marvin Mumbled “superMarket.”
As the year ended, the king missed his home in the sky, the warm weather, and everything about Ladie-Land. He knew he was learning here. It may not be better now, but soon he would have enough supplies and would go on another Mission to find others to help him in his life.
And maybe next time the snow melts and summer returns we will see The Magical King flying through the air once again, on his new mission, for his new Castle.
THE END  (maybe)
