. .
My name is Stacia Colton and I live in Hawaii. Some people call me Shastalee, but mostly they call me Stacia. I’m going to Kahuku Intermediate this year. I have seven classes.  My favorite classes are English, Drama, and P.E.  The other four classes are Glee, Science, Math, and Social Studies. Some of my friends are Ericka Staples, Katie Allred, and Sunshine Nelson.
For a week I lived in a tent, because I gave up my room for my Aunt April and my Uncle Steve. It was fun. In my tent I had a twin size bed,  a couple of lawn chairs, all my clothes, and some of my books. I also had my scrapbooking stuff. Oreo also liked sleeping in there with me. She also tried to catch the geckos. I think she ate a few or atleast their tails.
I am twelve years old, and I am now in Young Women’s.  It is fun. We just recently learned a song called, “Heirlooms,” by Amy Grant. Then we presented it in November at a special meeting.
Some of the things I like to do in Hawaii are: practice dances with my friends, swim at the BYUH pool or in the ocean, read books, and go to the library.
On the 11th of December Katie, Ericka, and I were in the intermediate brown bags (the talent show) and we got 1st place. We won 20 dollars. We danced to “Zero to Hero” and “I won’t say (I’m in love).” We were very nervous and we tried our best. It paid off. Lately I have been buying Christmas gifts for my family  and friends. I have been busy with reading and going to the library. I enjoy my classes at school and I am lucky to have such great friends.
