Don said we looked like a sewing factory. I said, "That sounds like we know what we are doing." :-) So Cindy and I decided to put ourselves into "Grandma daycare." Enjoy!

Here's the project that started it all. Doris taught me how to do strip quilting using phonebook pages.

The bottom half of the bag came from a long tube of material I had that was sewn into a snake shape. I was planning on decorating a room into a jungle. That never happened, and I thought it went wonderfully with her tiger material. :-)

"Grandma Daycare" took a field trip - Guess where we went. OH, it was SO MUCH FUN! :-) It's "our" kind of field trip. Had so much fun looking at fabric.

I (Lois) was going to take some treats to a lady and wished I had a gift bag. Then I thought, "I can make one" so within 10 minutes it was made, filled, and a "bow" attached. Way cool. I like this liberation.
