Here is the tree from the North, shooting South. You see that a large hunk was taken out on the street side. WHY??? you ask? It was too tall and we couldn't get it with our multiple extension poles.

Here's what the tree looks like from the neighbor's yard to the south. So even though the tree is half gone, I don't think it looks as bad as it could. :-)
